“Need Work?” was commissioned by Hull’s Freedom Festival to be part of their Off the Shelf exhibition trail. I worked with graphic artist Caleb Simmons on the piece and we collaborated with the Wilberforce Institute of Slavery and Emancipation.

“The Infant Phenomenon” was commissioned by Holmfirth Arts Festival and spent a week on the art trail Art in the Woods. I collaborated with Maureen Jordan.
The piece is based upon a fictional character,’ The Infant Phenomenon’, a child performer who appears in the novel Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens. Ninetta is the beloved eight-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crummles, the manager-actors of a troupe of strolling players in which Nicholas Nickleby is a performer |
